Berta Zubrickaite is a curator with a proven track record of developing and overseeing cultural programmes in both large-scale public institutions and independent galleries. She has collaborated with artists across all disciplines, organising individual exhibitions, thematic group shows, and site-specific commissions.
She has held roles at leading organisations including Somerset House, Frieze, Simon Lee Gallery, and Saatchi Gallery. At Somerset House, she oversaw major group exhibitions including Get Up, Stand Up Now (2019), Beano (2021–2022), and The Horror Show! (2022–2023), working with over 100 artists on each project.
She is currently Director at Edel Assanti, where she leads the gallery’s artist development, institutional relations, and exhibition strategy.
She is co-founder, with Alexia Pierre, of Soothing Streams, an itinerant research and exhibition project focused on artist-led, site-specific investigations.
